Up until now, several developers have come forward to proclaim that Stadia players enjoying the respective developers’ games will be able to save their progress and continue on another platform. That is because Google established transparency as a no-go in that regard right from the beginning, stating in the official Stadia Announcement FAQ that game progress carry-over won’t be a possibility for the majority of games. Concern started to run rampant as many players expressed their worry over losing their hard-earned game progress through Stadia. Earlier this week, Google Stadia was announced to be completely shut down come January 18th of next year.
